vs. Toronto Maple Leafs (1-2-3)
Notes
- The Maple Leafs have lost 3 shootouts, including when Coach Ron Wilson put CuJo in net last time after Toskala had played all game long.
- Toskala gave up that really long goal last year, youtube goodness at the bottom of the post.
- Mats Sundin is still on vacation, but recently started his own training camp in Toronto.
- The Leafs are in their 41st rebuilding year.
- The Bruins were working on play in front of the net recently, probably due to a very small conversion rate on juicy rebounds.
- Tonight is "Hockey Fights Cancer" night at the Garden. As my friend Greg said, "Go Thornton!"
- Axelsson is skating this morning. Update: and will play.
- Chara spent his day "off" shooting a bunch of pucks. Let's hope it pays off (and he doesn't whiff on the shootout like last time)
