Finally, the last home opener in the league rolls around. See you at the game!

Notes:

• Pittsburgh lost the Stanley Cup Finals, Marion Hossa, and Ty Conklin to Detroit since we saw them last.
• Malkin and Crosby were together on the same line last game, they scored a bunch.
• Fernandez started last, plus it's the home opener, so Thomas is the likely starter
  
• There's a Fan Festival outside the garden from 4:30-6:30 before the game. They'll be giving away stuff, and the first 1,000 get some special t-shirt or something.
• Kobasew is still out, P.J. Axelsson didn't play last game and didn't skate this morning. No other injury news that I've seen.
  
• The last time I wore my Chara jersey, it was during the playoffs.  I washed it in the offseason because every season is different (and it needed a wash.)
• I'll be sitting in section 307 (behind the handicapped).
